🍰 Vanilla Loaf Cake

Soft, buttery, and filled with warm vanilla flavor — this classic loaf cake is perfect with tea or coffee ☕✨


🧾 Ingredients

  • 200g all-purpose flour
  • 150g granulated sugar
  • 120g butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 120ml milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Oven

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Grease or line a loaf pan with baking paper.

2️⃣ Cream Butter & Sugar

In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

3️⃣ Add Eggs & Vanilla

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in the vanilla extract.

4️⃣ Mix Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together:

  • Flour
  • Baking powder
  • Salt

5️⃣ Combine Everything

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk.
Mix until the batter is smooth and well combined.

6️⃣ Bake

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

7️⃣ Cool & Serve

Let the cake cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Enjoy plain, dusted with powdered sugar, or with a drizzle of vanilla glaze for extra sweetness!
