🍰 Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 4 eggs
• 1/4 cup oil
• 1/4 cup milk
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 tsp baking powder
• Pinch of salt
• 1 tbsp coffee (dissolved in 1 tbsp hot water)


👩‍🍳 Method

  1. Whisk Eggs & Sugar
    Beat the eggs and sugar together until light, pale, and fluffy.
  2. Add Liquids
    Add oil, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix gently to combine.
  3. Add Dry Ingredients
    Sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold them into the mixture.
  4. Divide the Batter
    Split the batter into two portions. Add the dissolved coffee into one half of the batter.
  5. Create the Marble Effect
    Alternate pouring both batters into the pan. Lightly swirl the mixture with a knife to create the marble effect.
  6. Bake
    Bake at 170°C / 340°F for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
