🛒 Ingredients
- 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
- ½ cup (50 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 cup (200 g) sugar
- ½ cup (120 ml) vegetable oil
- 1 cup (240 g) sour cream
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ cup (60 ml) milk
- 1 cup (170 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips

- Preheat Oven
Preheat to 180°C (350°F) and line a muffin tin with paper liners. - Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar. - Mix Wet Ingredients
In another bowl, whisk oil, sour cream, eggs, vanilla, and milk until smooth. - Combine
Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients.
Gently mix until just combined (do not overmix). - Add Chocolate Chips
Fold in most of the chocolate chips, reserving some for topping. - Fill Muffin Cups
Divide batter evenly, filling each cup about ¾ full.
Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top. - Bake
Bake for 18–22 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. - Cool & Serve
Let cool slightly before serving.
